Occasional gas and bloating often result from fermentation of food, like plant fiber, in the colon.
VeggieGest contains a high-potency enzyme, Alpha Galactosidase, that is key in digesting the sugars from beans, grains, raw vegetables and other foods that create digestive discomfort. VeggieGest may assist the body in breaking down and assimilating these foods, which takes stress off the gallbladder, liver and pancreas.

I chose this product after reading on a site that high DHA and very low EPA is the correct form of algae oil and that the oil from artificially developed strains of algae with increased level of EPA is not good. Also from the research of the Calton family I learned that EPA and DHA compete for absorption and should be taken separately and at different times for optimal absorption.
DHA is also shown to promote neuroplasticity. Since starting to take this supplement I feel calmer and a more balanced mood.

I’m really surprised with all the great reviews. Unless you are the kind of person who can swallow a pill the instant it goes into your mouth you’ll notice they taste gross. The smell, as soon as you open the bottle is horribly fishy (which I guess isn’t a surprise) the taste is even worse. I retched today after trying these. Wont be able to take the rest. Really disappointed. Even your fingers stink after touching these pills, the way fish would linger… Maybe I’ve been vegan too long but if someone told me these were actually fish pills, I’d believe them.

No issues with delivery.
Can’t really tell a difference from taking them, but then again I can’t with most vitamins!
Feels nicer taking a somewhat safer form of my omegas etc. I just wish I’d checked before purchase that the serving is 2-3 a day, meaning this is only a months worth which is a bit too pricey for me to purchase each month.

I bought these for my little girl. I’d heard that the omega 3 oil helps eczema when put directly onto the skin. I’d tried everything so was willing to give it a go. It worked! I pierced the capsule and applied it onto the worst parts of the skin and the soreness/ redness was visibly better within 2/3 days.

These tablets are great – easy to swallow with no aftertaste or oily smell when you open the bottle! I have been looking for vegetarian Omega 3 supplements for quite some time now that were not overpriced and Omvits are great value for money! I have been taking these for a little while now and have already started to notice the benefits – am glad they are finally on Muscle Supplements!

Fantastic product at a really great price. An essential supplement for vegans and others who care about overfishing and the environment.
Fish only contain omega 3 because they eat this algae. Humans can avoid eating fish for omega 3 by eating this same algae.
Seems like an ethical company too with real values.

As a Vegan and a follower of Dr Michael Greger who recommends non fish oil Omega 3 it is important to find a good source of Omega 3 that does not come from fish. As well as the omega from vegetable products such a flaxseed we need 250mg of preformed DHA/EPA, from algae or fish. As the fish should be left to swim in the sea and the fish get their Omegas from algae anyway, just go straight to the source and take this product.

I was very happy to find an omega 3 supplement sourced from algae, as krill, which is very popular as an alternative to larger fish, is now in danger of being over-sourced, according to Green Peace. Well done Omvits! The capsules are vegan, another big plus, and easy to swallow.
