Carnivor is composed of Bioengineered Beef Protein Isolate, which is 350% more concentrated than steak – and more concentrated than whey isolate! With zero fat, cholesterol or sugar, you need to beef up with Carnivor – the world’s first beef protein isolate!
It has long been known that bodybuilders and strength athletes consume high amounts of beef to help build muscle and increase strength. The muscle building power of beef cannot be disputed. Ask any bodybuilder and they will tell you that they make their biggest muscle gains and feel their strongest when they eat beef. Now, thanks to the development of an advanced bioengineered beef protein, MuscleMeds has formulated the most sought after muscle building protein ever created. Carnivor is unlike any other protein in existence.
Beef Protein Isolate is More Concentrated Than Steak and More Concentrated Than Whey
Using extraction, clarification, hydrolysis and isolation technologies CARNIVOR’s Bioengineered Beef Protein Isolate delivers the muscle building power of beef with higher amino acid levels than many other protein sources used in supplements including whey, soy, milk and egg. CARNIVOR Beef Protein Isolate is even more concentrated in anabolic muscle building aminos than a prime sirloin steak! And it has no fat or cholesterol!
Anabolic Nitrogen Retention Technology (ANRT) Recyles Aminos and Minimizes Ammonia
While protein is critical for muscle growth, paradoxically, consuming more protein can sometimes actually decrease performance and muscle growth if nitrogenous waste products like ammonia are not recycled back into anabolic tissue building pathways or otherwise neutralized. ANRT is specially designed to promote the recycling of aminos back toward the muscle-building pathway to address the build-up of debilitating toxic scavengers such as ammonia. ANRT nitrogen retention factors contained in Carnivor include: GKG (Glutamine-alpha-ketoglutarate), OKG (Ornithine-alpha-ketoglutarate), AKG (alpha-ketoglutarate) and KIC (alpha-ketoisocaproate).
Carnivor was formulated to support the recycling of aminos back into the muscle building pathways to support nitrogen retention and promotion of muscle growth and performance.
More Creatine Content than Steak
One of the benefits of eating beef is its naturally high creatine content. Beef is one of the best natural sources of creatine. To support the cell volumizing effects of creatine, each serving of CARNIVOR has more creatine than steak to saturate your muscles to promote strength and growth.
Added BCAA for Increased Anabolic and Anti-Catabolic Support
To further the muscle building support of CARNIVOR, additional Branch Chain Amino Acids are added to the purified Beef Protein Isolate. The enhanced BCAA levels promote a positive nitrogen balance, support protein synthesis, improve workout performance and address muscle fatigue.

Used for years, but taste is WAY too inconsistent and thereby I would say the ingredients are too, owing to the way my body seems to react to it. For the past year or so I just as often as not have received a batch that has a distinctly “playdoh” like taste, and when that happens this stuff is hell to digest. Stool often comes out very “sticky” and playdoh like (swear it seems to be a correlation) and you can just feel your system telling you it’s bad stuff. Quality control is suspect these days, and I don’t notice any significant difference in gains between this and Whey. Switched to ON Gold Standard and just drink less milk to compensate for it for the increase in lactose to my system; at least with that stuff theres a minimum standard of quality/taste and I feel confident about the ingredient sourcing.

I have been using the same product for more than 2 years and always been the same sometimes the taste changes a little, sometimes more foam sometimes less foam.

But this time this one is completely different in texture and after shaking no foam at all and it smells like cocoa powder and tastes like one.

and after 10 mins of having it i get terrible pain in my stomach.

never experienced this with this product before in the past.

What I like: Chocolate tastes awesome!! Beef protein has creatine built in.

What I don’t like: very hard to mix. Forget spoons, forget shake bottles. You need a blender. I use a hand held blender which works great. But clean up is a bit messy, again because it clumps to everything.

Final thoughts. Tastes better than any other chocolate protein powder I’ve ever had. Yes…it’s a pain to mix, but the taste is worth it. I’d like to say I gained 10lbs of pure muscle from my first canister…but….not really. Can’t really tell any gain difference at all from whey protein.

No sugar, no carbs, no whey, no bs.

If you’re lactose intolerant and can’t consume whey, then this is a no brainer. I’ve tried soy and other plant based protein, but it doesn’t compare to what this product offers. I’m into my 3rd jug and will continue to use it as long as the quality stays the same.

Protip: Add a bit of cinnamon and coffee creamer into the chocolate shake. Enjoy!

I love this stuff it is hard to mix but well worth it. The flavor is great and I choose to drink it with my meals now , I’m on the KETO diet per my Doctors advice and this fits the ticket. As far as mixing I just put it in a mixer bottle and shake it up for a couple of minutes with a couple of ice cubes in the bottle to help with the mixing. Then I put in in the refrigerator and it tends to finish liquifying during the day. I kind of balked at the price at first until I looked at how much I was spending on Gatorade and other drinks. And I’m actually saving money on my new favorite drink. I’ve been drinking this for about 3 months and I’m sure I’ll stick with it. It’s just that good.

The foam. Ermehgerd, the foam. Add 1 scoop to 8oz of water in a typical 20oz shaker cup and it’ll be full of foam by the time you’re done shaking it. The good is it’s a solid product with decent protein to calorie ratio and the taste is real good for not being your everyday chocolate. It’s more of a cocoa flavor, if that makes sense. Beware of the creatine content if you’re trying to cut as it will make you retain water, it’s roughly 1/2 of what you’d get from a typical creatine supplement.

I did not care for this protein. The taste was fine, but it does not mix well in milk (2 scoops in 20oz of whole milk), but more importunately, it was caused very uncomfortable digestive issues. I used the protein approximately 6 times with the most recent shake causing the most problems. A fiber supplement taken in conjunction may help. I’ve ceased using the protein and sold the remainder to a friend that recommended it and doesn’t have any issues with it.
